RHEANNA ATENDIDO (she/her) is a SINGER-SONGWRITER and THEATRE-ARTIST born and raised in Seattle. As a second-generation Filipino-American, her mission in life is to cultivate art that truthfully reflects the Asian-American experience and puts womxn of color at the forefront of storytelling.
Since 2009, she has shared her original music with the world on YouTube. Her debut album Letters to Whomever (2016) features a number of songs that first premiered on her channel. Carrying her acoustic pop-folk sound into her musical theatre work, she has composed for a number of projects with theaters such as ArtsWest Playhouse, The Horse In Motion, and Book-It Repertory. She is the playwright-composer of two musicals, Breakup Bench and Cultural Essay. Acting credits include The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Repertory, and Village Theatre.
As she continues to field a career as a singer-songwriter and playwright-composer, she hopes to inspire generations of folx to live in the importance of their stories and find what compels them to tell it.
